Fenway Park after Dark . . . safe?

Planning on going to a game at Fenway but we'll need to leave in the 7th inning or so. Is the subway a safe way to get clear across town at 9:30 pm or should we take a taxi?

I've never had a problem on the T after a Sox game - are you going downtown? Even leaving early, you should be fine.

I've never felt uncomfortable on the T at night. And the T will be much better after the 7th inning than after the 9th!

It's fine. There will probably be some other "fans" on the t with you. It's very safe.

Just don't wear a Yankees shirt and you'll be fine!

Absolutely, though it depends slightly on what you mean by "clear across town."

Area is busy and safe - and even more so any times Red Sox are in town. Several busy bars right near Fenway that have fans during game. Walk to Kenmore MBTA rather than stop called "Fenway" - Kenmore has more trains and walk is thru busier area. Fenway stop is not closer, and it is below street level and hidden - not really unsafe, but Kenmore is better.

Ok, sounds like it's pretty safe . . . we're going from Fenway to Revere.
