Update: a deal has been negotiated and the Nkunda has agreed to let the Rangers back in to monitor the gorillas.

Thanks for update PB. Watching as I type a documentary on the History Channel called Shadow Force- Black Gold that describes the efforts of Virunga park rangers to stop the charcoal manufacturing in the park by rebels. Grim, but facinating documentary on the challenges facing these rangers to save the park.
