does it matter:jackson lake lodge or signal mountain

After 6 nights in Yellowstone, I have a reservation for only 1 night in Signal Mountain Lodge, or I could have the desired 2 at Jackson Lake Lodge, although cabin is smaller and more money. (we are 4 people-family) Does it really make a difference? From reading, it seems half the people prefer SML and the other half, JLL. Can someone weigh in on why they prefer one over the other? Many thanks.

Maybe I'm missing something, but, to me, the key factor in determining where to stay would be the number of nights available. Using that as the main criterion, I'd recommend Jackson Lake Lodge. The Teton is certainly worth than much of your time....and more!
