Fodorites doing ok despite flooding?

Seeing a lot of pictuers of the mid-Atlantic/Northeast floods on the news and friends in Philly and the Lehigh Valley say traffic has been terrible the last day or so. Hope all the east coast Fodorites are doing ok!

I'm a little concerned about making it home this evening. The Brandywine Creek is between my office and my house at about 3 different spots in my commute (office in Chadds Ford, home is Downingtown). Flooding is pretty bad right now.

Good luck! We lived in Exton for a while, near the Waterloo Gardens store. We saw some big t-storms in the summer, but no flooding.

Having experienced our own flooding not so long ago in Massachusetts, my sympathies are with those who endure it now.

Handmaiden, how are you doing? NBC News tonight did a report from (or rather, above) Manayunk and the flooding along Main Street looks pretty bad. As I recall, that's your neighborhood...fingers crossed for you!

Small world, BTilke - I live about a mile from Waterloo Gardens. In fact, my daughter is working in the landscaping office there this summer.

Flooding along the Delaware River is pretty bad and it looks like Wilkes Barre in the middle of PA is in trouble. I think 250,000 people have been evacuated.
