If I were going with 3 boys, I would stay in a Fort Wilderness cabin. It's worth staying in a cabin for the kitchen alone. Eating out every meal at Disney prices can get old quickly. I also liked the relaxed atmosphere (as opposed to a hotel), the boat ride to the Magic Kingdom, and the nightly campfire. The Fort Wilderness area has its own pool and and a pretty good family-style restaurant.

rhl269, It really depends on how long you are staying and how much you have to spend. The deluxe resorts are bigger but cost quite a bit more. Some Port Orleans riverside rooms can accomodate 5 and cost much less than deluxe so that would be my recommendation. My biggest piece of advise is to not let yourself get overwhelmed (Disney World is much bigger than a lot of firstimers realize) and try to do everything. If you just relax and enjoy yourself you will have a much better time.
