dinner and dancing in NYC
Dear all
We are a couple in our 50's. We love ballroom dances, we are absolute amateurs, so we were wondering where could we have dinner and dance in NYC during a short stay in Manhattan next week.
Your help would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know of any public ballroom dancing clubs, but maybe someone else does. The main ballrooms I know are for special events and reserved.
But if you are interested in swing, I do know a Swing Dance Jazz SUpper club which is pretty moderately priced for NYC, only a $15 cover charge for music AND a dance lesson, and then the dinner menu is in the $40 range or so. It's midtown, also. Actually, lthe places that tend to be public clubs that I know of are always a more lively type of dance, not slow ballroom danncing (like waltz or whatever), such as swing or Salsa ort some kind of Latin dance. So I guess it depends what kind of ballroom dancing you would like to try.
That's this place

Could be fun.
