Wow... we love Maui. Never been to Kaui. Heard its pretty though. We had the good fortune of going to Maui two years in a row. Wish we could afford to go this year. It gets pretty costly for us (airfare). You luck up being on the west coast. Hawaii is just magical.

I'm sorry Sarah. I though your post stated your a San Francisco native. Do you live on the east coast or west coast? Is your airfare costly for Kaui each year?

No I got a $500 deal that Martin Luther King Weekend. I went to Hawaii twice that year! That summer I went with priceline for $480. Have not seen anything under a $1000. since. Has been a priority every year since, not to go twice but a reasonably priced condo on Kauai. I cut back in other ways to make up for this extravagance. Ok I never truely make up for it but????.... oh well.

Yuppers I live in NYC. I was the burnt out on NYC individual earlier in the thread. Chandra is right everyone should see NYC and a pleasant, aware disposition is all you need.

$500.00 is a good deal. A few years ago we paid that to go to Maui. Of course it was after 9/11 when they were having low airfares. By chance, are you going this year? If yes, did you find some good airfare to Kaui?

yes I will go just don't know when. I may go Summer if work ends due to this economy I may go sooner.
