Nightlife Help
Hi, my friend and I are arriving on 27th Feb for 4 nights and would appreciate advice on the best hotspots!.. somewhere trendy with good funky music and not too young a crowd I am 30 and my friend is 36.. We are staying in the Chelsea area. I was in NY 3 years ago and went to Webster Hall, is it still good to go to??
Cheers!

Kim, Webster Hall is still popular. I suggest that you get yourself a copy of Time Out New York magazine and check the websites for Citysearch New York and Paper Magazine. There's lots of info there on trendy spots.
The Lower East Side is also a very popular area and I would check that out. Have fun.

Kim,
New York Magazine will be of real help in finding great things to see and do.
Also you might want to check out Don't Tell Mama, on the west side, not far from Times Square. Fun cabaret performances there almost every night.
If you see Karen Mack listed GO SEE HER. She was the best cabaret performer last year and her show is always fun.
