I am from central Fl and the Doctors that treated the pulse victims see hundreds of gunshot victims a year but they didn't see semi automatic wounds, that was the difference, the day after the Pulse shootings they were back at it. We have areas here that the cops do not venture into. The emergency workers hate answering calls in certain areas. A guy I know is Puerto Rican and his first job was as a NYPD and he bought a new car but was pulled over each day he drove it because he was PR. 10 and 2 is my motto. I don't blame the Bahamas for issuing that warning.
Frank, I was the one that told you that your exit post had over 300 hits and look at me now. They are eating their own.

Every city in the world has areas cops avoid, or try to avoid. That's why emergency calls from those areas take so long to get a response. Meanwhile, people who can't afford to move away are trapped in dangerous neighborhoods where they can't call for help and expect to get it.

Mac: For someone with no interest in the lounge, you seem to have an inordinate fascination with it. Though I see your problem with your "get back to the lounge" comment. You want to spout off without being contested.
Don't want to be contested? Don't spout.

Two more
Bahrain today urged citizens via twitter to "be cautious of protests or crowded areas occurring around the U.S."
The United Arab Emirates urged its students and other citizens in the United States to also be careful, using similar language the U.S. State Department employs when warning Americans about countries that have fallen victim to attacks by extremists.

Newbe is correct, and not just for war zones like South Chicago but some nice places too. My buddy retired to an unincorporated part of Temecula CA, it was great until they couldn't offered their own Police force. Now they contract with the County, but its a good 45-55 min if you call them. The illegals in the area know this, and its now their free picking grounds...so sad
A landmark shift in police protection has begun, police will start pulling out of areas that are too hard or expensive to protect. We will become like a 3rd world nations where even affluent communities will have to contract private security

More police massacred in LA today. About the only good news is that civilians are being spared in this battle so far
I'm afraid eventually the attackers will learn what other terrorists have, killing the innocent speeds up the desired outcome for dirtbag murderers
