Dallas hotel??

My husband and I are going to Dallas in Feb. for cheerleading nationals. Can anyone recommend any good, not too expensive hotels near the convention center. Thank you.

Adam's Markison the opposite end of downtown from the convention center, and it is expensive.

Try the Hampton Inn near the West End, or the Amerisuites in the West End. Both of these are on the moderate end of prices for downtown. If you want someplace less expensive, you'll have to drive a little further.

We like staying at the Embassy Suites, near the Galleria. The rooms are all 2-room suites, and you get cooked-to-order breakfast and a free happy hour every night. Access via the toll road to downtown will take about 25 minutes.

The West End is further than Adams Mark. What about the Hyatt? I would NOT walk at night. Dallas is not a good, safe walking city. Sidewalks roll up at night and even some places during the day are scary. I say the Hyatt Reunion.

how long has it been since you were downtown at night. Chnages are happening and not just in West End or Deep Ellum. It's not that bad to walk and I do it all the time.
