Charlene-It is your vacation and you can do with it as you wish. Therefore, if you want to go to Woodbury, go there. I've never been and I live in NYC-shame on me! Anyway, from what I hear from my friends there are heaps and heaps of stores, so many that you can't do all of them in one day. But you are coming a long way and things here are less expensive, so it could be worth it to spend a day up there to eventually save hundreds of dollars (Euros). Good luck! It looks like a beatiful and classic handbag, and one that will last a lifetime.

Pardon my stupidity but are we talking screaming Celine Dion here?? Or some other designer type Celine making handbags that cost enough to feed a third world village? What makes a purse worth that much money? It's all too Hollywood for me.

Why is it necessary (travellin I"m talking to you!) to bash what other people want to spend their money on? Why do you care? If someone wants to spend that kind of money on a purse then so be it! Does it take money out of YOUR account? I don't think so, so mind your own business and let poor Charlene have a nice vacation with her nice brother.

Ps, Charlene29 there is a Celine store here in Las Vegas inside the Paris Hotel shopping center. The main telephone number is 877-796-2096 and you can then ask for the tel. number of the Celine boutique which is located in the Le Boulevard shops. They may also be having discounts right now. Most of the upscale shops here in the US will ship a handbag to get the sale.

I don't know if this is real or not but it's only $600+ which is a substantial cut from the original $1100 price. Call them up and see what they say.
