Hunt a Replacement for my Way Cool Collapsible Duffle Bag
Some years ago, I got this nifty duffle bag as a donation "thank you" from a group like Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club, -- can't remember who. But it has finally come apart, and I'd sure like to find another.
It opens up into a roomy duffle bag (2 or 3 feet). It's made out of very lightweight nylon (kind of like a windbreaker), with web straps. There's a zipper pocket along one end, and the whole thing can be folded down into this pocket and zipped up. That brings it to a dinner-plate sized thingy, light, and flat enough to easily to into a suitcase zipper compartment. Takes up almost no room.
I sure miss it! We've packed it along on so many trips, and used it to put our bulky coats and dirty clothes in to make room in our suitcase for all our souvenirs.
Haven't seen anything like it online or in stores (but then, I don't get out into the stores much). If anybody has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

Hi sludick, I had a duffle bag like that, it was sort of a kahki color. I stupidly gave it to a family member. Why I don't know. I haven't seen any like it since but I hardly ever go shopping either. I guess just check every luggage store, sport good stores etc. Have you looked on EBay? I don't use EBay but it seems like people find whatever they need on that website. Good luck!

I found it! I found it!
On the Sierra Club website -- believe it or not, it was only $9.95. I ordered 4 of them...
Here is the link, if anybody is interested:

Thanks, everyone -- appreciate your suggestions.

I believe it was Sierra Club. I had an extra and am looking for it but haven't found it yet. If I do, I'll let you know.
On the subject of light bags, we have a couple of the really light backpacks that both Nature Conservancy and Sierra Club offer and they are great for taking on trips. They weigh less than a pound, and we let the kids carry their towels, snacks, etc when we do outings on vacation or when we go hiking or to an amusement park. They're sturdy, too. All 3 of ours are still in great condition.
