Cat on a Hot In Roof (NYC)
I read recently that Brendon Frasier will be appearing in NYC in March in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Does anyone have any information as to where it will be playing and the dates.
We are planning a trip to NY approximately at that time and would like to try to get tickets. How early do they go on sale.

I saw this production in London last October with Fraiser, Ned Beatty, and Francis McDermott - Ned was awesome, Fraiser didn't do much but grunt (was fun seeing his big bald spot), and McDermott's attempt at a Southern accent was horrendous - but she is so beautiful. Anyway, the only way I would suggest this play would be to see the actors - the play itself is just dribble.

Funny about Francis McDermott's accent. I saw her do Blanche Dubois a couple of years ago and her award winning performance was brilliant including a flawless accent. What is she doing differently this time?
So you're saying Brendon Frasier didn't actually do his lines but just grunted?
Was it grunting the way the character was meant to be done, or a different kind of grunting?
Yea, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, perhaps one of the greatest plays of this century called dribble.
Any more brilliant theatre commentary for us uneducated??

Still would be intrested in getting an answer to my original question, has anyone seen any advertising as to what theatre this will be playing at? I know I was told to check out the NY Times but am I the only one who has heard that it will be coming to NY in March? As for Frasier I also believe that the role in Cat on A Hot Tin Roof is not the most eloquent. He was quite good in Of God's and Monsters.

How does Ned Beatty get away with being Big Daddy? Doesn't the audience howl at Ned and yell out, "You look just like a hog." And, "I bet you can squeal like a pig." Or, "Why don't you just drop them pants." Or, "Them panties- take em' off." And, "It's there."
