Car service tips in New York

We have reserved a car service to pick us up at the airport. Not a limo but town car type thing. How much do you normally tip the driver??

Thank you
Kim

20% assuming he handles putting all your luggage in the trunk. Most drivers, especially car service ones, automatically do this. Occasionally, I find yellow cab drivers have to reminded.

Agree - in addition to the are you need to pay for the bridge or tunnel toll and a 20% tip (and unlike some cabbies, they will help with luggage).
