Broadway Show - Is there a way to check for an actor's night off?

I'm planning to get tickets to 'South Pacific' in NYC. Ages ago, I worked with Loretta Ables who plays Bloody Mary. I don't know how to contact her, but would like to increase my odds of seeing her by choosing a show in which she is scheduled to perform.

Do actors have regular days off? If so, any ideas where to find this info? For local shows I just call the theater, but the Vivian Beaumont 'contact' number is a Ticketmaster line.

Thanks,
Lcuy

Try calling the members hotline 212-239-6277. They might be able to help you out. Ask for member services.

Good luck.

I recommend you send a letter directly to Ms. Ables at the Beaumont. The address would be Vivian Beaumont Theater, Lincoln Center, New York, NY 10023.

Actors generally don't have a night off, but it is possible that she has vacation time coming up. Best way to find out is to contact her or her agent (representative)directly: http://www.lorettaablessayre.com/

Except for the boys in Billy Elliott, actors in featured or starring roles do not typically have nights off. But they do have vacations, as spring212 suggests.

Thanks everyone...I'll try all of the above. I know she just had a vacation recently, so I guess we're safe!
