Breckenridge Condo Recommendations

My wife and I are planning a 6 night stay in Breckenridge in August with day trips to the areas around Breckenridge. Any suggestions for condo complexes that have good mountain views, not too old, and reasonably close to Main Street would be appreciated. We realize that a good condo complex does not guarantee we'll be able to find an individual rental unit that is great but having suggestions for the best complexes will get us started. Thanks.

It's probably obvious but I should have clarified it as: Breckenridge, Colorado.

We enjoyed the Grand Timber Lodge when we stayed there two years ago. It's a quick shuttle or a pleasant walk to Main Street. Lovely room, with a HUGE tub. Great pool in the hotel (kind of an indoor/outdoor thing going on)and a pleasant bar.

My family stayed at the Grand Timber Lodge last month and we found it to be a great location. We stayed w/ friends who own a timeshare; however, I know the condos are available to rent as well. It was clean, new, nice decor, and had a great pool. The shuttle to Main St was convenient but we walked as well.

Not a condo, but we enjoyed a great inn.

We stayed in the Summitt Pass Suite.

The Hyatt Main Street Station complex is only a couple of years old, and it's right on Main Street. There's another new property next to it (also on Main St.), Marriot Mountain Valley Lodge.

Just behind Main Street Station is the Village at Breckenridge. It's an older property, but depending on the units, some are very well kept up.

Thanks for the great tips. We found a great townhouse in Saddlewood. We couldn't pass up the super rate for late summer. We appreciate your help.

starrsville,
Glad to hear you enjoyed the Allaire Timbers Lodge. We're staying there for a few days this Aug. I'll write a report when we return.
