Breckenridge & Keystone parking?
Hi! This is my first time to ski at Breckenridge and Keystone, are there any free parking available at either resorts? If there's paid parking, how much is it usually?
Any help would be great, Thanks!

Last winter we parked in a pay lot near one of the high speed 6 packs whcih got us over to Peak Seven where we did most of our skiing. We arrived early (9am-ish) and were able to park exceedingly close so it was worth the $10-15 it cost. Especially at the end of the day when we were all tired.
I think the free parking is at an intown parking lot and you hop a shuttle. Have you looked on Breck's official website? Probably info there.

There is free parking at both Keystone and Breck.
At Keystone, take HWY 6 to Gondola Rd. wich is near the River Run area. Turn onto Gondola Rd. and in less than half a block turn left toward the huge free parking lot (the Montezuma lot). Signs should point the way. Once parked you'll have to walk through the River Run complex to the gondola base area, or take a shuttle to the main Keystone base area.
At Breck, there are several large, free parking lots along Park Avenue (the "Miner's" parking lot, and the "Tailings" parking lot. Shuttles run continuously from these lots to the 2 base areas. At the end of the day, if you don't want to take the shuttle back to the parking lot, you can ski down a green run called "Four O'clock" and end up about 2 to 3 blocks away from the parking lots, and walk to your car. If you are staying in a condo in Breck, check to see if the owner has a "close-in" parking pass that you can use to park for free at the pay lots right at the base areas.
I do not know the price of close-in parking anymore at either Keystone or Breck.

The pay parking at Keystone is $15. The best pay lot is located off Montezuma Rd. Follow the signs for the free parking just off Gondola Rd., but continue all the past the huge lot and turn right on Montezuma Rd. The pay lot will be on your right after you make the turn. This will put you the closest to the Gondola at River Run.

Just an update to this thread. There is a new run that forks off of the Four O'Clock ski run that takes you to a spot directly across the street from the Miners parking lot. The new run is called "Skyway Skiway" and branches off from the left side of Four O'Clock as you are nearing the end. It is not on the map of the ski area yet, but there is a small sign. At the end of this new run you have to take off your skis, descend to a tunnel that takes you under Park Ave. and then up into the Miners lot.

There is free parking for both areas. At Breck, it requires a free shuttle bus ride. At Keystone, it requires a really long walk in your equipment from a huge parking lot through the village to the gondola. Both areas have close-in parking for $$.
