Rittenhouse 1715 parking?

My husband and I are considering at stay at this property (not the Rittenhouse Hotel). It looks nice, however I'm a bit unsure about the lack of parking on site. Is there anyone who has stayed there that can comment on parking? We'll be going this winter.

Thanks

What does the property tell you about parking options? Does it have it's own garage or valet?

If it doesn't have parking available, your best bet would be finding a lot nearby and park your car. There're plenty of parking lots around but just expect to pay $$$. There are street parking spots (metered) but you'll have to move your car every 2 hours during the day.

HI syd......Rittenhouse 1715 has no on site parking. The website notes several garages that are nearby. This is a wonderful location but it is in dead center Philadelphia - you will have to park in a garage. The hotel offers to assist you.

If you are searching for more general comments about the experience of guests at this property you should check www.tripadvisor.com. The previous guests seem very happy to have stayed here.

Parking options are few there. Plan on paying about $25/day at nearby garages.

Thanks, had already looked at the tripadvisor reviews and the property's website. j_999_9's comments have me rather apprehensive about staying there this winter.

We were in the city last night to attend a concert. We parted, as usual, on the north edge of Rittenhouse Square, at 1845 Walnut Street. We've never had a problem. The 24 hour rate at that garage is $22.

I would not be concerned about parking there, as long as you are ok with the price and to realize you won't find on street parking. The neighborhood is good, and you will find places. Don't let this scare you away from our city! There are some garages that are NOT open 24 hours a day, but if the hotel is able to direct you to one or two that are, you will be fine. Once here, you will be able to walk to most attractions. Or, you may want to take a short taxi ride if it is cold.
