Best week for waterfalls in Yosemite
I am planning a trip to Yosemite National Park this spring to see the raging waterfalls. Because of all the snow and rain this year I suspect there will be lots of water going over the falls. But when is the best weekend?

Once it starts warming up the waterfalls will be raging. I don't think there is a "peak" week but anytime during spring. April has always been a great month when we've gone in the past. In fact we will be going this April too.

We went last year ~ May 10th-12th or so, and they were pretty darn good then as well. It was a little warmer by that time (days in the 60's, nights cooler). The park was awesome. We got drenched on the return hike from Yosemite Falls as the wind had picked up by then and was blowing spray over the trail...

To Tricia,
It's REALLY hard to predict this far in advance. I've been several times in April and wore shorts on the hike to Vernal Falls. We have also been in May and had 4 inches of snow in the valley. Watch the weather channel several days before leaving and that should give you a good ideas of what to pack.
