Did you tell her that as a hooker you provide the unique service of allowing bubble baths to your Johns? What an idiot she must have been. Did you totally enjoy the satisfaction of explaing to her that it was your husband so she could do the Emily Latella (Gilda Radner on Saturday Night Live), "Never mind"

Winward House in Camden Maine. Stayed in 3rd floor room. Didn't mind the slope ceiling - room was large enough. Very easy, short walk to shops and marina. Flowers across the front of it and the B&B next door were breathtaking. Great value for what you got at the time (few years ago). Breakfast was delicious. You sat at your own table yet nearby others. Nice. Was beautifully decorated. Had Trisha Romance (Canadian artist) prints - awesome. The prints may no longer be there since owner has since changed. ONLY negative would be truck noise at night since you are in town, but not significant. It was an unusually warm Aug. so we had window open. Otherwise, may have not heard truck traffic.

Also, recently stayed at:
Two Meeting Street Inn on the battery in Charleston, SC - charming, gracious staff, greats food, you'll be delighted. Awesome and accurate pics on thier website. (Don't confuse w/ Meeting Street Inn - an annoying piggybacker)

John Rutledge House in Charleston, SC - owner in same family, stately, tasteful conservative decor, very nice rooms, long walk to 3rd floor where rooms were more mediocre but nothing to complain about, afternoon tea generous and delicious, built and lived in by one of the framers of the Declaration of Independence, great location.

Foley House Inn in Savannah, GA. Wonderful in every detail. Beautifully decorated, gracious staff (innkeeper was away). Courtyard room was utterly charming and far superior to more expensive rooms. Windows overlook courtyard and one door opens onto it. Courtyard room far more appealing in person than on website. Lots of little extras.

Saw award-winning courtyard of Sundial Inn of Caramel, CA a few years ago. Located in town, good value, would love to stay.
