Beekman Tower

Anybody stayed in the 2 room suite at the Beekman Tower? Traveling with 7, 5 girls 22,19,16,15,12. Sleeps 6. Could add a role-away, but would we be too cramped? Or would I better with 2 or 3 rooms elsewhere?

We stayed at the Beekman Tower in a 1 bedroom suite and the living area was huge, so I don't think you'd be cramped. My question would be - is there only one bathroom for 7, especially 5 girls. If so, I'd look elsewhere. I got a very good rate on Expedia. Have you looked into getting a studio and a one bedroom? I thought the Beekman was a wonderful hotel, the staff was great and we really liked the location.

The bar on the top floor is very "New York" in atmosphere and, if you're lucky, you can snatch a table outside on the rooftop.

Also, La Mediterranean, just across the street, has wonderful Italian. I recommend a reservation.

I used to stay at Beekman Towers several times a year on business, and the main thing about it is that the rooms - even in the same category - are all different sizes.

If you ask when you reserve or when you check in for a room that is large and explain that you have a lot of people, I am sure they will try to accommodate you.

Great staff and nice location.

(I got bumped up to a 3 br suite my last trip there and could easily have had 20 people in for a party.)

Be sure to check with the hotel whether you'll be permitted to have that 7th person in the room. Fire laws limit occupancy.

If it is a two bedroom, which it sounds like it is, you will be fine. The two bedroom will have two bathrooms.

If you would like to come back home still speaking, make sure you have two bathrooms.
