Thinking of a spring/summer trip to Baltimore. Brother and sister team in our 40's. Would love to catch a baseball game, aquarium, fun and some night life. Looking for hotel recommendations, restaurants, probably one nice dinner and more fun pub style places. Are baseball tickets readily available and what would pricing be. Thanks for any help, haven't really done much homework and haven't been there in 15 years or so.

As long as you're not going to opening day, tix to the O's are pretty readily available. Look to stay downtown. There are two Marriots, but Waterfront is the one I'd recommend. Harbour East is right there and has lots to do. Fell's Point's nightlife it younger and rowdier than Federal Hill's.

You can go on line to the Oriole's website and check out their schedule and buy your tickets for whatever day you'll be there. If the Yankees are in town, it will be a little difficult.

Waterfront Marriott is great -- we got a good price on There's a pub around the corner, James Joyce, that has great beer and bar food. You are in walking distance to Little Italy - I would recommend Amicci's. For your nice dinner, Roy's is also right around the corner from the Waterfront Marriott.

For Oysters/shellfish, Mama's On the Half Shell in Canton is a good place, and a short taxi ride, or if the weather is nice, the Inner Harbor Ferry.

Roy's is a great choice for dinner.

The Renaissance Inner Harbor is the most centrally located hotel on the water. It is close to everything. We have stayed there twice. It is a nice hotel and owned by Marriott.
