Austin/San Antonio TimeShare Rental Cheap??
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a way to find a cheap timeshare rental in Austin/San Antonio in the end of Sept and then in the beginning of October.
If not a time share does anyone one know of a place to rent with a kitchenette for 3 adults that is reasonable? Thanks!

I've stayed with a friend at a timeshare at Canyon Lake between Austin and San Antonio. The scenery there was nice, and the accommodations were pretty nice, not sure of price though. I think it was Hill Country Silverleaf resort - again not sure if it's cheap, as I was a guest of a member there.

So sorry it's taken me a while to respond - weekends get a way from me some time!
Here's the link for the resort, and there's a map attached.

It is pretty central. I haven't been there in several years, but I seem to remember it being somewhat nice. Not top notch, but not Motel 6 either.

I don't think you're doing either SA or Austin justice if you stay in between and not in the cities.
The resort areas near Canyon lake are about 1hr drive from either city, and are geared to enjoying the lake area.
The joy of both SA and Austin is the nightlife - restaurants or clubs in Austin, and the Riverwalk in SA.
There is an Extended Stay America hotel right in downtown Austin that has a kitchinette, and is just a few blocks from the Whole Foods flagship store, 6th st, etc.
You don't want to be driving back and forth - it'll get old after the 1st time you do it.
Just my 2c.
