Celebrating 30th wedding anniversary this year! Welcoming suggestions for reasonable places to stay, romantic restaurants. Planning a day trip to the Biltmore, but no other plans yet. All suggestions welcome. Thank you so much.

Do not miss Curate, a tapas restaurant downtown. We have eaten there twice and had two of our best meals ever. Owner/Chef is James Beard finalist several times. Great atmosphere! Order a pitcher of the sangria and let your wait person bring you a variety of small plates. Reserve early, as it can be hard to get into.
Regarding Biltmore, go on a weekday if you can and be there when they open to beat the crowds and see more of the house. It's also fabulous.

If you like to hike (or even if you don’t I suppose), Clingman’s Dome at Great Smokies NP is beautiful. Just don’t go out the other side (Gatlinburg, TN — NOT beautiful lol)
We had a very nice dinner at Chestnut. We tried to get into Curate without a reservation and couldn’t, so do make reservations in advance. Also really enjoyed the fried chicken at Tupelo Honey.
