Restaurants in and around Asheville, NC
My wife and I will be spending 3 days in Asheville at the end of next week. Accommodations are not an issue. We are staying at the Grove Park Inn. I'm looking for restaurant recommendations. We are looking for fairly upscale places to eat. What can you recommend?

Asheville is a great foodie town. Here's just a short list of what could be classified as fairly upscale: Curate, The Admiral, Posana, Chestnut, The Market Place, Bouchon, Limones, Isis, Isa's, Nightbell, Bull and Beggar. There are others, but you can't go wrong with any of these.

I agree with all that brdcollie recommended but I will add one. Rhubarb is the restaurant that the former Chef of Blackberry Farm opened and it is fabulous! Our favorites from the list above are Curate, Bouchon and Posana. Have a great trip.

Many thanks for your recommendations. We have reservations at Rhubarb and Limones for dinners and will play lunches by ear. A local recommended the Pisgah Inn on the Blue Ridge Parkway just south of Asheville, billed as "The Peak of the Parkway," for breakfast and views from the dining room. We'll check that out too.
