arthur ave. lunch suggestions

I am heading to the Bronx Zoo on Saturday with my daughter and was thinking of trying to stop for either a late lunch or early dinner. Looking for good suggestions and wondering how far the drive is. Thanks

We are headed to NY Botanical Garden next Tuesday. We plan to have lunch @ Otto Zero Nevo.

If you're driving, use maps.google.com for distance and directions.

Your #1 choice should be Dominick's. The food is amazing and a lot of fun.

My vote is for Dominick's also. Delicious food, family style seating, lots of fun!

We went to Arthur Avenue this summer during the week for lunch and the place was dead as a doornail. We had planned on Otto Zero Nevo, but we didn't want to dine alone there, Dinner must be the time to go.

We ended up at a Italian deli that was pretty good. We ate on the sidewalk and then went on to the New York Botanical Gardens.

The Bronx Zoo is about 1/2 mile from Arthur Avenue. You should google map 187st and Arthur Avenue to get to the center of things.

I like Mikes Deli in the Italian Market (1 block indoor food festival)for Lunch.

Antonio's is a nice sitdown Italian resturant on Belmont Avenue.

Parking is tough! Be prepared to drive around a bit (I assume that you are driving?)

Best Bread store on the Planet Addio's bakery right across from the Italian Market
