No, they are not for real. There really are no posters here. Fodors has a small army of staff making up all posts and responses. Even the GTG are staged.

When there are no more wars to fight and lands to conquer the army turns on its own people.

Hofstra you need to go fight the war of logistics and then conquer the lands to be traveled. Obviously all you have to occupy yourself with right now is attacking your fellow Fodor posters.

You probably have no clue who this is. It may be a retired professional travel critique or staff member of “Globe Trekker” TV Show. Or some other show.

Pray tell what world class credentials do you bring to the table to qualify as poster critique?

Somehow I suspect that counting the number of posts omeone replies will never replace good sex, or am I incorrect, Hofstra???????

Oh yes, we're very real. The problem with fodors is that it's addicting! I've learned (from several years of hanging out here) that unless i have a good chunk of time to spend, i don't even pop on. Its too easy to get engrossed in reading trip reports and living vicariously through others when i'm not free to travel
