The connection times are fine. You will be staying in the same terminals and no security needed once you go through the one in St.Paul airport.

Clifton - O'Hare is not the busiest airport in the world, not even the busiest in the US. Last year the honor went to Atlanta airport for US and Heathrow in London has been the world's busiest for some time. No big deal, just want to let you know.

I stand corrected. Atlanta is the world's busiest.

Atlanta Hartsfield retained its title as the world's busiest passenger airport last year as numbers rose to 76.9 million, an increase of 1.3 percent over 2001.

Atlanta was followed by Chicago O'Hare (66.6 million) and Los Angeles LAX with 56.2 million passengers.

London Heathrow was the busiest outside North America with traffic of 63.3 million.

Aimee...Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, the flight from Chicago arrived LAX gate 73 and the flight departed LAX for Kona Gate 75, practically next door to each other.I'd bet thats pretty standard so I wouldnt worry.Have a great trip!

Wow, thanks for the heads up, AA. Believe it or not, both Conde Nast Traveler and one other travel mag I'd picked up (I think Geo Expl.) were both still billing ORD as busiest. Behind the times, they are.

CNT was quoting route traffic (arrivals/departures), rather than foot traffic, if that may have been the difference. I honestly don't know how the numbers stack up when looked at by numbers of flights. Not a Delta flyer though and try not to be an AirTran flyer either, so I only get to/through Hartsfield every now and then. Busier than ORD or LHR (both of which I usually fly through to Europe)? Yeeach.
