Any help on a cabin in North Carolina?

My boyfriend and I would like to get away for 3-4 days and would like to go to a secluded cabin in the mtns and just lay by the fire. We would prefer Western Carolina as it is closer and only need something small. Any suggestions?

Go to Gatlinburg instead. It is really quaint there, definitely in the mountains, and you wouldn't believe the cabins you can get there for not too much money. For instance, my brother goes every year - for a little over $100 per night (which is a lot for him) he gets an amazing, big cabin with pool table, big screen and full size jacuzzis in the bathroom (the are about 8X8feet!). There is also a jacuzzi outside, but with almost a swimming pool in your bathroom, why bother. I have stayed there in other cabins myself (bigger for more poeople). It's truly the most you will ever get for your money. I love it!
Just look online for the cabin rental agencies. They have a lot to offer and they are all nice.
Have fun!
P.S. Gatlinburg isn't far from Carolina at all.

We have stayed several times at the Mountain Valley View Cabins near Hot Springs, NC (do a search for the internet). They are one bedroom cabins with a kitchen and are clean and well maintained. They have a wood-burning stove (not a fireplace).

Check into the Cataloochee Ranch near Smokey Mountain Nat'l Park. They have a website at www.cataloochee-ranch.com.
