Aloha! Interisland Airline One Better Than Another?
Aloha!
Are Go! Mokulele and/or Hawaiian all equal in terms of on-time record? It's been a while- and we previously relied on Aloha.
If it matters, the flight will be HNL to KOA.
Thanks for your opinion!
Cheers,
Peterman

Price and schedule are what matter, for such short flights, there isn't much difference. We used both Aloha and Hawaiian and there was no noticble difference. Go for which ever works for you.

Thanks to you both.
Unfortunately, Hawaiian is more expensive and does not have attractive times for our schedule.
Has anyone out here flown with Go! or Mokulele and care to share an opinion? They have the most convenient schedules for our trip (ie: no 7am departures), but if they are prone to delays or cancellations, we would avoid them.
Thanks again to those who have answered and those who care to!

We flew Go! in March interisland between Maui and Oahu. The jets are small CRJ's (100/200) with about 50 seats with open seating and are smaller than what Hawaiian or even Aloha used to operate. Departing from Oahu to Maui was from a terminal that was located much farther away from where Hawaiian departs, suggest allow extra time if trying to connect from mainland flight.
If you happen to be connecting from a mainland flight to KOA through HNL, would ask about whether bags will be checked all the way to KOA, or will you need to claim and recheck at HNL .
We experienced no delays or cancellations.

On our recent interisland flight from Maui to the Big Island they held our Hawaiian Airlines flight for just about an hour (of course after we had boarded already) until a connecting Hawaiian flight from Seattle arrived with 20 or so passengers. I was a little peaved because I know they charge more $$$ for some eariler flights than others, plus it reminded me of traveling in the 48.

Many blame the demise of Aloha on Go and refuse to use them. In fact they wanted to change their name to Aloha and the bankruptcy court told them they had hurt enough Aloha employees already and refused to grant them the name.
