3 hr Airport Layover - Restaurants
I will have a three hour layover at O'Hare on a Saturday night. Can anyone recommend a restaurant at the airport or close to the airport? Plane arrives at O'hare 5:30 and scheduled departing flight is at 8:30

3 hours is really not enough time to go off the airport property so let's forget that idea.
Landing at 5:30p
Getting into a cab at ~6p
Nearest good restaurant ~15-20 minute drive
Sit down dinner ~1 hour
Hopefully cab is waiting or available
Need to get through security and be at the gate ~30 minutes before.
See my point?
The good news is that O'Hare has some of the best airport restaurants in the nation.
Check out the official site for a list of what's available:

Berghoff and Billy Goat are 2 Chicago "institutions", Berghoff is German, Billy Goat is famous for cheezborgers (SNL skit). I've never tried either at O'Hare so perhaps someone else will weigh in. Chili's is a burger, sandwich, salad chain you can find all over the Chicagoland area which usually has good food but once again I've not eaten at the O'Hare location.
I have eaten at Pizzeria Uno which serves premade individual pizzas, not always good and not sitdown, Panda Express which is good fast food Chinese but is not a sit down and Wolfgang Puck's which has really good woodfired pizzas. The O'hare location I ate at had bar stools, not booths.
I also wouldn't recommend leaving the airport.

Kristi covered most of the better ones. Also, on the O'Hare page you can click the names and you will get a brief description of the places.
Many consider the Gold Coast Dogs to be one of the best in Chicago for a traditional Chicago Dog.
Goose Island Brewing Company is a local brewery. The city location has some good hamburger/fish type food. I'm not sure about the airport location.
O'Briens serves some great sandwiches.
World famous Eli's Cheesecake - it is simply delicious.
The attached O'Hare Hilton Hotel also has a more formal restaurant, Andiamo. Nice full service, sit down Italian restaurant with a above average wine list. Just follow the signs to Train/Hotel. You do not have to go outside at all. You will need to leave the secure area so give yourself enough time to clear security before your connecting flight.
