Ultimate Private Honeymoon Destination?

So, imagine that you have an unlimited budget and are looking for a private resort for the honeymoon of a lifetime - where would you go?

As a Catharine, I'm living vicariously through the future Princess Catherine. After Will & Kate's wedding, they will both need to get away from everything.

Maybe a private South Pacific Island or an exclusive Safari camp?

Ohh - a private island sounds perfect.

Any other dream private honeymoon ideas?

Cate_W~ I'll say what we always have to tell people posting questions on the Travel Tips branch (even though I realize you are an editor). If you really want answers you need to post on the destination forums. For this question I'd go to Asia, Mexico and Central America, and Caribbean forums.

What about Positano's Il San Pietro Hotel? Ensconsced on its own cliff high above the crowds (and paparazzi!) that jam Positano, set three miles south of the town, on a bluff with an angel's view of the Amalfi Coast, this spectacular xanadu guarantees privacy. When Julia Roberts was chased off of Capri by armies of photographers, she escaped to the San Pietro, and found it so enchanting she thanked heavens for those shutterbugs---without them she never would have found the heavenly San Pietro.

Thanks, Robert - Il San Pietro sounds fabulous!

Suze - I didn't want to limit this to specific destinations for now, so I figured I would start here. What would you recommendation for a private honeymoon destination be?

When you just got married, you and your beloved partner are looking for some honeymoon destinations to spend your sweet moments together but with your limited budget. Well, fortunately, there are cheap honeymoon destinations for every couple wishing to put more warmth in their relationship. For your ease I would like to share something for South Pacific Island. South Pacific Travel Guides is an independent travel publisher providing a one-stop resource to help travelers of all ages, interests and budgets plan their South Pacific islands holiday.

I actually gave away a bride in a Las Vegas wedding (father was not available). What happens in Vegas-stays in Vegas.
There is also at least 1 drive up wedding chapel.

This is a difficult question for me to answer. Mainly, because my lifestyle does not have me in the public eye. That means I can enjoy vacations wherever my budget permits.

A private island wouldn't be my choice. I've had to go to Hawaii a couple of times and never really enjoyed it.

My favorite vacations involve art and great buildings but I'm sure the royal couple are privvy to these already and aren't saving vacation days for them.

Thinking of this makes me rather glad I'm not famous.
