Aerolineas Argentinas experience Buenos Aires to Mendoza

I have heard that Aerolineas is a disaster as an airline - lots of problems. I want to land at EZE so i can go directly to my international flight and Aerolineas is the only airline that flies from Mendoza directly to EZE. Should I be afraid that the flight will have problems??

No most flights do not have problems so no worries...

There are LOTS worse local carriers in SA/CA

Thanks for that website. It sounds like this airline is a disaaster!!! but I can't find another one to go roundtrip to mendoza and get us back to EZE. since we're leaving for the states at 10PM I hesitate to fly into the local airport since it's fairly far from EZE. but these reviews really scare me!!!

Most of the bad reviews are about long haul flights to/from Australia or Europe. On in country flights Aerolineas is not bad and greatly improved from a couple of years ago.
I would never try to connect a domestic flight with an international one on the same day on any airline, but that is just me.

I agree with Huentetu.. but the domestic airport is right in town .. EZE is about an hour from town... I think... traffic is always the issue with time ..

I have rarely heard anything good about Aerolineas..

Hi, connieyonan!

Are you quite sure your flight from Mendoza lands at EZE?

I'm asking, because most in-country flights land at the local airport.

We took Aerolineas Argentinas from Buenos Aires to Iguazu and it was fine. flight left ontime and arrived ontime. Nothing to complain about.

I decided, based on some good input from you all, that we will return to Buenos Aires by LAN airlines the day before we leave for the States. Better safe than sorry and then we can try a different hotel in BA! Thanks

That's a great idesa to fly back to BA the day before your flight back to the states. We always do that. Lan is much better than Aerolinas. Lan is a more efficient operation than Aerolinas. However, last month our flight to Iguzau was delayed for 3 hours. So you never know.
