Westin Regina in PV
I'm thinking about booking the Westin in Puerto Vallarta. Can anyone comment on the hotel set up? What's the difference between the "Club Room floor" and a "Grand Deluxe room"?
Any info you can provide on the rooms would be very appreciated

lynette, I haven't stayed there, but I'm sure someone who has will answer your questions. Go to tripadvisor.com for plenty of reviews of the hotel. If I were you I'd call Westin and ask about rooms, or even call the hotel in PV directly. The money you spend on the call may be worth it.
Just a warning: I've read some bad reviews of the place recently on this board, and I wouldn't stay there if I was planning a trip...

Thanks. I've been on tripadvisor and I can't find the answer to my question.
I'm also open for other suggestions on a hotel in the Marina area that is at least somewhat luxurious (besides Quinta Real).

Check out the Velas Vallarta. I could be wrong, but I think the beach is better there than at the Westin. Not sure if you would call it "luxurious", but we are staying there next week after touring it last year. Looked good to me!
