Transportation from La Fortuna to Cuidadad Quesada
I will be staying at the Montana de Fuego while I am in the Arenal area. I would like to visit someone who is located in Ciudad Quesada.
What transportation options do I have to travel in between those 2 places? How long does each option take, how late does it run, and what are their costs?
As always, I appreciate your help.

You could take a taxi for $30 or so. The drive would be about 1.5 hr. Public bus much cheaper ($2-3), but will take longer because of frequent stops. Don't know bus times, but there should be 2-3 departures each day, if not more. I'll bet you can find a bus schedule online fairly easily. I've found it before, but don't remember the website off the top of my head.

Check here. You'll find Cuidad-La Fortuna. Read it (I think it was #286) and it will tell you about the return times as well and suggested route (and return times). Less than $1!!! Good luck!

Bus times can change. The best thing to do is to check at the bus station the day before you decide to go. Ask about the Chachagua bus to Ciudad Quesada, estimated travel time for that route is only about 1hr. There are only 2 departures. Cost will be around $1.00. Do have colones for the bus.
