Saw Bosque del Cabo on TV!

Flipping through channels on Thursday night we came accross a cable program called Fantasy Camp. It was a about a wildlife photography camp for adults and it was filmed at Bosque del Cabo! I was ecstatic to SEE what all of you have been saying about the place! So incredibly lush - flowers, birds, monkeys, etc. They showed the grounds, went out on trails, went down to the beach - it was a great tour! They also showed a cabin with 2 double beds - is that a garden room? Can't wait to go - as a matter of fact I just put 2 FF tickets on hold for February!!

You lucky dog! Wish I had been flipping channels!

Now you know what we are all raving about. So are you decided? Is it Bosque? You can't go wrong.

February - hmmmm - I better hurry and decide or all the rooms will be booked!

What channel was it on? Maybe they will repeat it, would love to see it.

From time to time they repeat on The Animal Planet the Jeff Corwin show in CR, covered about 4 different places & all the wildlife. Very intersting, especially the frogs!

As an aside, there is a website that has virtual tours of several hotels in CR, BdC included. When the box pops up, hit the small arrow with the ? in it, it will highlight areas that you can continue thru the property. BdC's is probably the most extensive. The site is http://www.solimartravel.com/virtual...ings_temp.htm#

I wish I had seen that. We are going on our second trip to CR at the end of May and won't have time this trip to go down to the Osa. I am already trying to plan a trip next year so we can go to BDC. After all the great reviews it's received on this site, I can't wait to go some day. I did a little googleing (is that a verb now?) and found the show was on the Fine Living Network. Here's a link about the episode (it looks like it has already aired in full, but maybe they'll replay it again some day)

Just wanted to bring this post up to the top since this episode of Fantasy Camp is now available ON DEMAND in our area (our cable provider is Comcast and a lot of the shows On Demand are free, including this one). So for anyone interest check you on demand cable offerings.

Duh! I was mistaken....I was looking at the Food Channel! lol Luckily I went back & checked & found it. Just finished watching it. Great seeing the grounds and the red-eyed tree frog on the night hike - wow!! Thanks again for the heads up!
