PV area hotel and weather question

Anyone stayed at Casa Las Brisas lately? This question has been asked occasionally but no solid answers in the past few years. And are we taking too much of a chance on the weather at the beginning of August?

Don't know the hotel, but August is considered part of the summer rainy season. It is most likely to be hot, humid, with some rain.

I'm interested in this hotel as well. I've been reading about it and I've e-mailed the American architect owner, Marc, with a question.

I wanted to add I *love* Puerto Vallarta and would go down any month I could get away. So didn't mean to sound harsh about the weather. I don't think you're <taking too much of a chance> I think you can pretty much depend on it being as I described

sorry, can't help w/ Las Brisas, but have been in PV in August. It's hot, but if you want to relax and have a beach vacation, it's very nice. The rain usually comes in the evening, and it's a nice chance to cool off, and the storms can be very pretty. If you want a very active vacation, the heat could be oppressive.

Thanks for the answers, so far. Perhaps some one will look in after the holiday who knows the property.
We just returned from two weeks in St. Barth and the weather was mostly sunny, but I've never experienced such humidity. Although I now live in CA, I have lived in Fla and the Bahamas!
They say it's going to be a rough hurricane season, which is one of my concerns..

You might try the PV-only websites. A couple of these also offer BB's similar to this one (sorry I forget which sites have which).
