Monteverde, Original Canopy Tour vs Sky Trek

Can anyone compare these two canopy tours? Which one is the least scary? Which one did you enjoy the most and why? Which one is the highest? How long does each last?

We did the original one, which is literally the 1'st one there. We felt completely safe. It was incredible. The differences are that the Original one is more in nature, lower, swinging from tree to tree. It was quite beautiful, we even saw monkeys. In this one, you climb the trees on rope ladders, once through a strangling fig tree, which you repel down. The Sky Trek is WAY higher, above the trees. You climb up steel staircases and the swings are much longer. If you're only going for the adventure, I would suggest Sky Trek (you'll definitely experience more adrenaline). We felt enough adrenaline w/ the Original one and were glad we did it.

Thanks Cassidy, thats exactly what I wanted to know. I'll do the Original Canopy tour. I don't need to be 'too scared'.

If you want to experience the beauty and nature without the thrill ride, I'd recommend you consider the Sky Walk. I thought is was great.

Yes, BD, the SkyWalk is definitely in the plan. I was just wondering if I should be trying to make a reservation ahead of time for January.
