Haven't tried sky trek or original canopy tour, but the canopy tour at Selvatura in Monteverde was great!

I also did the Selvatura canopy and bridge in Monteverde and it was FANTASTIC. I especially loved that bungee type swing off the cliff at the end. I was screaminggggggg.

Looked into both, ended up doing SKyTrek, it was about $5 less expensive, but loved every minute. Incredibly well organized, and with a high priority on safety. I think Sky Trek has a few more cables (10 vs. 8 if I remember correctly). From talking with people who had done the other, it seems the SkyTrek was the more exciting (higher, faster, longer ziplines). Took about 2.5 hours, the walk up was also lovely, and the guides were great-funny and informative. Would do it again in a heart beat. If you are looking mostly for a nature walk, SkyTrek probably isn't the right choice - more a blend of nature and excitment. Hope that helps.

Sky Trek, my vote.
combine, Sky Trek (zip) with Sky Walk (hanging bridges) and serpentarium in a little packaged price. Serpentarium in Santa Elena other two together on mountain. Awesome final zip!

Selvatura - on grounds, butterfly exhibit, hummingbirds, newer hanging bridges and zip lines.

Original - outdated by the others!
