Looking for a Mexican resort with a lap pool

DH and I are looking for a resort in Mexico that has a lap pool. (DH likes to swim laps every day. I like to sit by the pool with a cocktail and watch him - ha ha!). Do any of you Fodorites know of any? We are open to most locations - price points (except maybe Four Seasons pricing). We also enjoy snorkeling, biking, hiking, relaxing. Not looking for a crazy spring break type of atmosphere. Any thoughts?? Thanks!

I don't know if this qualifies as a "resort", it is a nice hotel, but the Grand Hyatt in Playa del Carmen has a regular and lap hotel. It's just a hotel as far as I'm concerned, not a resort itself, but they might call it that

It's a great location, only a few blocks to the beach. there are some other hotels on the coast there that have them, also.

The Royal has a pool with a lap lane, which may not be the same thing but it's more of a resort

The Blue Diamond in PDC also has a one-lane lap pool http://travel.usnews.com/Hotels/revi...Mexico-131532/

Years ago I stayed often at the Camino Real in Ixtapa. Excellent pool for swimming. (Lap swimming is important to me as well) The name has changed as it is now part of Las Brisas group but the pool, and the fabulous Legorreta-designed structure remains.

The Club Med in Huatulco had a great pool as well..see if you can find out what happened to that property, on Tangolunda Beach.
