Looking for Pool with Waterfall

Hubby and I are planning a vacation in April, and one of our requirements is a large pool with a swim-up bar and a waterfall, the higher the better. Which resort on which island has the best such pool?

Well, it's not an island but it is on the caribbean. The Iberostar Paraiso (Beach or Del Mar) just south of Cancun on the Mayan Riviera has a spectacular waterfall that begins their very long, windy pool. It has several swim up bars as you go along. The pool itself varies from more like a river to a full sized pool with various "bulges" as you go. This is a two-sided resort with the pool running the length of the resort from the lobby to just before the beach. It's the longest pool I've ever been in. If you start at the waterfall, bring a boogie board and float down the river part to the first swim-up bar, get a drink, and use the boogie board to balance your drink on as you float down the "river" to the volleyball area. Play volleyball...then start your floating down the "river" to the large pools where you have two more swim-up bars!!! Very relaxing!!

It might not be in the Carribean, but I have to mention the Fiesta Americana Condesa Hotel in Cancun Mexico! If a gorgeous beach and a beautiful tropical resort is what your looking for. I was overwelmed with the huge pools which are multi-level, waterfalls, swim up bar, it even has a old fashion wooden bridge that you walk over the pool area - fantastic. We honeymooned there and enjoyed every minute of it!

Beaches Turks has a great waterfall right by one on the many swimup pool bars. A wonderful resort.

I think the Wyndham El San Juan and Intercontinantal has waterfalls. Double check for sure though

News flash today.......pools with waterfalls will cease to exist in the caribbean. The waterfalls' feelings are hurt because people at Fodor's are picking on them. They will be taking their business elsewhere. Film at 11!

I would go to the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar. Me and my family just got back from there about 12 hours ago. There are 3 resorts in one. Paraiso Lindo, Beach, and Del Mar. Del Mar has 2 swim-up bars and a waterfall with a Jacuzzi in the middle. And it also has chairs inside too. The pool is absolutly huge! The people are very friendly. 7 including one of the entertainment guys told me that they loved me and that i was beautiful.
So it is the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar in Mexico in the Mayan Riviera.
