Lodging in Quepos

A group of 5 of us are traveling to Quepos in April 2003 and would like to know of a good, reasonable priced place to stay. Something close to restaurants and nightlife. Any suggestions?
Don't know much in Quepos..how about Manuel Antonio...and not to get to personal, but 'reasonable price' is different for many. What do you consider 'reasonable'?
In Manuel Antonio, I like Villas Nicolas and although I've not stayed there yet, I would highly consider Hotel California.
Hope that helps!

I guess I should have been a little more specific, but we really don't want to pay more than $200 per night. We really just need a place to lay our heads and a decent shower/bathroom. Also, we are 5 single guys that aren't quite up for the whole family scene so we wouldn't really want to stay in a hotel with a bunch of children running around. Thank you for your recommendation. I will check into it.

Steelers,
When in April are you coming? I'm asking because Hotel California's rates drop by like a third starting April 16th, so you could get two rooms for a great price there. Also, it's the not the type of place you'll find kids running around. It has more of a laid back, secluded atmosphere to it. Hope this helps.

Ben1 - We are arriving 4/12 and staying in the Quepos areas til 4/18. I hear the coastal areas get rather crowded during Easter week and some places even shut down closer to Easter Sunday - Is that true?

Yes, that is true, although it sounds like you may be leaving before it gets too crazy. Around Easter, pretty much everything shuts down, you can't buy beer for a couple days, and the beaches are packed.
