Better Beaches/Swimming Ocean side or Gulf side

which is the better coast for nice beaches/swimming. Gulf or Ocean side?? this goes with my previous posts for an 'AI'

Neither are better. There are so many places on both sides - Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Mexican Riviera on the Gulf side.

On the Pacific Los Cabos, Puerto Vallerta, Acapulco, Ixtapa - many more.

You should think about a budget and what fits your budget i.e. - it will probably be cheaper to fly into the cancun area if you are from the east coast or Cabo if you're from the West - then look at resorts in those areas.

What month are you going? We have gone to Cabo (Pacific waters) and to Loreto, Mexico (Sea of Cortez) - both trips in late Jan/early Feb. For us, the waters were too cold to do water sports - we are used to the Caribbean.
