Worried -- Hotel Al Vagon -- Can anyone check?

Anyone in Venice willing to check the Hotel Al Vagon or has anyone stayed there???

I have booked a standard canal view room but it just seems too good to be true for the price and I'm starting to worry!

If anyone has been there or is willing to swing by it (it's Cannaregio 5619 between Rialto bridge and the Ca? d?Oro museum) I will be eternall grateful!

Thank you so much!

Go to www.tripadvisor.com and read the consumer reviews there...

(you can just Google the hotel name, and hit the link for Tripadvisor...)

The reports seem quiter positive for a budget hotel - the only consistent negative seems to be the noises from the street/canal - and that is true of everywhere in Venice that I have been except the Lido.
