Chancery court is very upscale. About 2 minutes to Holborn Tube and less than 1 mile to Picadilly circus and all the theaters. Plenty of coffee shops with a blueberyy muffin to save a small fortune in breakfast fare. Good local inexpensive restaurants and pubs. Short walk to British Museum, easy walk to Tate. Very elegant. I will try out the Restaurant "Pearl" and write later. From 252 High Holborn.

I've stayed at both County Hall and Grosvenor House and was very please with each stay. Great rooms and staff. I found both locations had much to offer.
The two Hiltons I've stayed at have been HORRIBLE. I happen to be staying at Hilton Hyde Park and this is probably the worst hotel experience I've had in the past 5 years. I'm Hilton Gold and I'm stuck in a closet where it is a challenge to move from bed to desk (I booked a deluxe room), service is non-existent, no doorman and nasty breakfast. The Hilton Metropole wasn't much better.
