Marriott Hotels in London
I will be traveling to London in August with two children (10 and 6) and one other adult.
We're traveling from JFK to Ireland for three days then on to London for four days.
We already have accommodations in Ireland, but am wondering about London.
I've checked online and see some very good deals at both the Marriott London Kensington and the Marriott London Regents Park.
Has anyone stayed in either of these hotels? Suggestions as to one or the other, or perhaps a better, yet reasonable Marriott in London?
Thanks.

I don't know about the rates, but the Marriott at County Hall is in a wonderful location on the river and at the very foot of the London Eye.
There is so much, especially for children, within walking distance of it.

Are you a Marriott Rewards member? If so, log onto the website, marriottrewardsinsiders.com, and take a look at what folks have said there about the London properties.
Also, take a look on tripadvisor.com

Thanks for the responses everyone.
Check out this great site for panoramic street views in London:
http://www.seety.co.uk/
Click panoramic street view
A map comes up
Put the cursor on street you want shown
I did it and can now see these two Marriott Hotels…it’s brilliant!
Joannyc: I'm not a Marriott Rewards member which in this case is too bad, because I would have loved to have read what people have said about these two hotels.
Cynthia_Booker: The Marriott London County Hall looks absolutely amazing. Checking rates now, which I can only imagine are high consider it's prime location.
avalon: good site...thanks.

Hi, Girl. Since you are not a Marriott Rewards member, there is another hotel in the same building as the Marriott County Hall, Premier Inn London County Hall. Premier Inn is a chain of family hotels, much less expensive than the Marriott but in the same prime location. Look at the review in TripAdvisor. It is highly rated as a family hotel. I stayed there two years ago and it was more than satisfactory in every way, not luxurious, but quite satisfactory.

You can sign up to become a Marriott Rewards member for free. Then go to the Insiders site and click on the Hotel forum. Filter the results by putting London in the criteria box. I just checked, there are 12 pages in that forum referencing London.
