Which Apartment in Rome - Navona or Rondanini
Have read many reviews and Rondanini https://www.sleepinitaly.com/apparta...id_appartam=44 seems super nice, but I am afraid of the hard bed and the sofa bed not being much better. Also noise....however the location and the rest of the apartments seems awesome. Second choice,
http://www.vrbo.com/115536 I haven't been able to pull this one up on any other reviews boards, looks comfortable, is it in a safe area and can anyone comment. Other suggestions would be very much appreciated as I would really like to get something reserved, we are looking for March 2011 6 nights.

I stayed at the Rondanini apartment in October 2006 - it was perfect for my daughter's and my needs, and the locations was superb, just walk a few yards along the street, turn right - and there is the Pantheon in front of you!
Here's a review I wrote...

Hope this helps.

I am not sure if I missed something in the apartment reviews for the Sleep in Italy one but I did not read anything about the bed being hard. I think that apartment has more character and they are a very good company to rent from if any "issues" come up.

Thank you both, I found the hard bed comments on reviews on trip advisor. I was sold on the apartment until I read that. I will be talking with them today too. How is the street noise at night?

Your reveiw is very thororugh Julia, looks like the bed is a matter of opinion What size is the bed? Is it a normal double or two twins push together? I would be willing to pay more to ensure our comfort, I'm just starting to get very confused with information overload and the trip is soon approaching

As I recall, it was a normal double bed, though it was a few years ago. I am not happy with a hard bed, but as I wrote in my review, I found the bed comfortable.
It might be worth emailing sleepinitaly and asking if they can tell you.
In the bedroom you will not notice any street noise. My DD didn't notice any at night, it was just the bin men in the morning, but they soon passed by.
The apartment is on a through street, which has a small piazza - there are offices - I think government buildings on the other side of the piazza, so there are a few cars and bikes coming and going and parking there, but it wasn't unduly noisy.
