You will be ok. It is not as close to the harbor as hotel Welcome. It is closer to the town center. There are very few hotels in VF. It is hard to get a reasonable one. Hotel Welcome is very expensive. If I have to spend that much money, I rather stay in Nice. If this is your first time there, you will love that village. Bon voyage.

I now have reservations at both hotels. Hotel Welcome actually charges you now for one night. I don't mind that, one less thing to pay for when I go, so I will probably cancel Hotel Provencal. Thanks for all your help.

Good decision. You won't be disappointed. Even though I have never stayed at Welcome, I think that you would like it better. I was in VF for over a month in school. I rented a studio with balcony overlooking the harbor. It was one of the best times in my life.

The Welcome is probably the best hotel in the area. I rented a villa in VF several years ago. I often had breakfast at the Welcome.
