where to stay in the Riviera

Hi! We will be in France this July and are ending our stay with 3 nights in the Riviera. I am having trouble deciding between the following places. We plan to visit Grasse and Eze and just relax the rest of the time before we fly out of Nice. Which hotel would you recommend: Chateau Eza in Eze, the Martinez in Cannes, or the Palais de Mediterranean in Nice? Thank you so much!

If your question is based of the visite of a perfum factory you can skip Grasse as in Eze-Village is the same.
Nothing against the Hotel in Eze but in the evening there is absolutly nothing to do outside the hotel - even in the upper high season

I would agree with that. Eze is too quiet for me. My own preference would be Nice-simply because I tend to like it better than Cannes.

I was lucky enough to stay at the Martinez on business--really nice hotel, fantastic room with covered balcony and every imaginable electronic gadget, beautiful bathroom, massive buffet breakfast--I guess I liked it! July will be crowded but Cannes isn't too difficult to get in and out of, particularly if you get an early start. It's a nice base because i the evening there are so many restaurant choices all within walking distance.

I found the Fragonard tour in Grasse very informative. We had a good guide and I certainly learned more than I ever knew about the process. Also, a great gift shop and if I remember, it was housed in one of the original factory buildings.

Thank you all. I didn't realize Eze was so quiet and we would definitely prefer restaurants within walking distance. The Martinez it is!!
