Rex: With respect, my point had less to do with this particular post per se, than with the fact that I choose to believe that such people couldn't possibly exist in the real world! Put enough of them together and <..War, famine, genocide..> could be a distinct possibility!

NB. For those of you who are unfamiliar, my last point falls under the category 'British Sense of Humour' and you needn't admonish me for either my flippant attitude to atrocities or for my denigration of the OP!! Thanks!

Actually, Tallulah, I think that's already happened, many times. ("Put enough of them together and <..War, famine, genocide..> could be a distinct possibility!&quot

If this is a troll, it's not very amusing. I think Driveucrazy is just young and naive. Surely on a board like this we should give the poster the benefit of the doubt?

I suggest that you ask for "ris de veau" everywhere.

Ira, does this mean that you think Rita Voe could be in Dublin or Athens by now? Good luck finding her.

On a sort of related note, can any of you tell me where I can park my car? I will be staying near the park but I want to be within walking distance of as many things as possible.

Melissa, didn't we already answer this question? Park on the street and you'll be close to the park and all the other attractions. Or if the street is already full, park in a tree.

I vote for Driveucrazy as having the most appropriate name on this forum!!

Oooh, Patrick, the editors deleted the parking thread before I could print it out for my trip.

If I can't find street parking and need to park in a tree, will I need to then take a shuttle? If so, how much do I tip the driver?

Actually, instead of bothering with finding free parking within walking distance, I'll just take a hike!

Suggestion to driveucrazy:

I really think, like the others on this thread, that you posted this as a joke, and the name you picked for posting seems to confirm that. However, on the off chance that you really meant this as a genuine question and just didn't realize how silly it would sound, here's what I suggest. Plan your trip further on your own. After you make some progress with your plans, if you still would like guidance about food options, do some research at the library, and in bookstores, and on the Internet about the food of each region you'll be visiting. Then if you still have specific questions about the food, register a new Fodors ID, and post some questions, but post a separate question for each city or region, for example, separate questions for Dublin, Sicily, Amsterdam, Paris. If you want to ask about restaurants, indicate what kind you're looking for: for example, local/regional cooking specialties, street food and quick cheap lunches, romantic restaurants, seafood primarily, vegetarian, etc.
